Sierra Nevada

You get your first glimpse of the snow capped mountains just 10 miles from San José towards Almería and during the winter months you can drive up to the Sierra Nevada ski resort of Sol y Nieve.

The ski resort is 3 hours drive from San José and offers superb facilities for all levels of skier including full equipment hire and tuition. It offers 117 runs spread over 100km of slopes.

Outside the ski season the Sierra Nevada offers stunning hiking and walking for wildlife enthusiasts.
